Expect classic Macallan elegance with rich dried fruit, orchard fruit sweetness and warm spice that are given extra depth and complexity from a quarter of a century of aging. Non-chill filtered with natural colour.
Founded in 1895 in Elgin, Gordon & MacPhail is the oldest independent bottler in Scotland and has held a uniquely relationship with Macallan for over a century. Buying new make spirit directly from the distillery and maturing it in their own warehouses under their own meticulous standards. The Speymalt label, first introduced in the 1930s, is among the longest running independent bottling series in the industry. Few bottlers can claim the cask access, expertise, and historical pedigree that G&M bring to a Macallan release like this one.
