Lucano is one of southern Italy’s most storied liqueur producers, based in Pisticci in the Basilicata region. Their Anniversario Limoncello is made from the zest of Limone di Sorrento PGI — the prized Sorrento lemon protected by the Consorzio di Tutela del Limone di Sorrento IGP. Only the outermost zest is used, steeped in high-proof spirit to capture all the lemon’s typical flavors. Awarded 90 points by Wine Enthusiast. Best enjoyed frozen.
