Foursquare Rum Distillery, based in Barbados, is renowned for producing some of the world’s most respected rums under the direction of Richard Seale. Their Exceptional Cask Selection represents limited, one-of-a-kind releases that showcase unique aging and blending techniques.

The Mark XXIX “Mandamus” release is a 16-year double maturation single blended rum, distilled in both copper double-retort pot stills and the continuous twin column Coffey still. It was aged for 10 years in ex-bourbon barrels before being transferred into ex-port casks for an additional 6 years.

Bottled at 57% ABV (114 proof), this rum is crafted entirely on-site at Foursquare Distillery in Barbados. Like all Foursquare releases, it contains no added sugar, no coloring, no filtration, and no flavor additives.
