The nose is warm and inviting, with aromas of cherries, strawberries, raspberries, soil and wild herbs, over a buried, luxurious chocolate note. The berries and soil define the palate, even as a creeping heat emphasizes a peppery tang all the way through a lingering finish. — Danielle Callegari

Winemaker Notes

Ruby red with garnet reflections, the nose is striking for its finesse and great balsamic character, with hints of ripe black fruit, pepper and hay. In the mouth, the beginning is soft with velvety and never intrusive tannins, wrapped in a beautiful freshness given by a lively and savory fruit.

Produced from the best Petit Verdot grapes of the winery and Cabernet Franc, our Super Tuscan represents the height of the territorial expressiveness of  Campo alla Sughera, pure emotion of a terroir that manifests itself as an elegant wine, rich in extract and polyphenols, whose sensory finesse and full maturity are reached through a slow aging in French oak barrels and then in the bottle. Produced only in the best vintages.
